Neighborhood revitalization work transforms communities into vibrant, safe places to live for current and future residents. Habitat Tucson doesn’t just build homes, we help build lasting communities!
Working in coalition with neighborhood residents and partners, we support the aspirations and dreams of residents who take on leadership roles in their neighborhood’s renewal.
A critical aspect of neighborhood revitalization is Habitat Tucson’s A Brush With Kindness program that works to improve the appearance of neighborhoods, strengthen connections within the community and help preserve affordable housing.
Recently, a group of volunteers from Aldea Spiritual Community led by Gary Henshaw replaced & painted dry rotted fascia boards & flashing to help repair a neighbor’s home.
Volunteers from Aldea have partnered with 8 different families to do A Brush With Kindness projects since 2013! Thank you!
