Since 2001, John and Kathy Kitagawa have been regular fixtures at the Habitat Tucson build site.
Madison Owen partnered with Habitat through Beloved in the Desert, Episcopal Service Corps. The Episcopal Service Corps is a network of young adults passionate about serving others, promoting social justice, deepening spiritual awareness, discerning vocation, and living in community.
“We will be the OWNERS of the house. It is more comfortable, more safe, more stable. It will be so good for us,” says homebuyer Marie.
“Habitat gives us the opportunity to achieve the things we want to do when it comes to raising our children. And the opportunity to have a better life. We’re just so grateful.”
