Completing Corazon Del Pueblo by Leveraging Modular Design at the CHUCK Center
Corazon Del Pueblo is a Habitat Tucson neighborhood containing hundreds of homes. Habitat Tucson has developed Corazon Del Pueblo for many years, making it one of our largest and most closely connected communities. Only 17 lots remain available for construction. Work is beginning on a parcel of 3 lots in this neighborhood, and Habitat plans to construct the final 14 lots in 2023. These 14 lots will be the first homes to demonstrate the power of our NEW prefabrication system, the vision of the CHUCK Center.
Laying Foundations in Regalo del Sol
Construction is underway at Regalo and will bring a Habitat community to a historic and exciting area of Tucson. The Regalo del Sol subdivision consists of 11 homes, 5 of them unfinished lots near A Mountain. Habitat is excited to introduce four 3-bedroom and one 2-bedroom home to this community.
Exciting Innovations in The Sunnyside Neighborhood
Habitat Tucson is in the civil planning process for 2-acres of land on Nogales Highway south of Irvington. Here, Habitat Tucson will create 18 single-family homes from 7 individual lots. This brand-new design will incorporate a shared wall and is aimed at providing more opportunities for affordable homeownership. By optimizing land use, Habitat Tucson will be able to build more homes and partner with more families. Focusing on affordability and housing density, we can fulfill our mission of building a world where everyone has a safe, decent place to call home.
