A note of gratitude from a Habitat Tucson homebuyer:
My journey has almost come to an end.
I have five weeks left, and it’s been a long and hard one for me, but it’s definitely been well worth it.
I love knowing that my youngest child will actually have a place to call home, and all six of my grandbabies will grow up having those memories at “grandmas house.” I also know that I’m showing the importance of owning your own home.
Now, I feel this has been a life learning experience for my five older children, that I’m showing them to never give up on their dreams – that our dreams don’t stop at any age, and that there is no limit to what we dream. I’m 52 and I made this possible at my age.
I have always told my kids that “The skies the limit, and you can do anything you want, when you set your mind to it!!”
The places I’ve been before are what I consider ‘stepping stones’. My Habitat home will be our home. Our actual home.
What a fine example this journey has been.
