It was a very hot Tucson day, but the volunteers worked diligently alongside future homebuyers to build homes and hope.

Then, they celebrated the hard work and efforts of Yvonne Falzone who received the keys to her new safe and affordable home at a very special dedication ceremony.

A Single Mother gets the keys to her family’s future.

Yvonne Falzone was recently granted the adoption of the two young children whom she had been fostering. Her family was becoming complete.

However, they still needed a place to call home. Falzone lived in a cramped two-bedroom apartment with her daughter both young children.

Now, she has the keys to a new home that was built in partnership with a community of Women Build donors and volunteers.

Falzone’s home is the 16th Women Build Home in Tucson.

A very special Thank You…

In 2017, Lowe’s donated over $1 million to Habitat affiliates nationwide in support of Women Build.

Furthermore, a group of Lowe’s Heroes helped paint, drywall and landscape new homes at this year’s Women Build.

Finally, Lowe’s hosted a how-to clinic for anyone interested in learning more about handling power tools.

Their partnership helps make Women Build a success each and every year.
