National Women Build Week challenges women to devote at least one day to building simple, decent and affordable housing in their local communities. Thousands of women from Tucson have volunteered over the past 17 years, building 16 homes.
Women in Tucson, Arizona are invited to volunteer on May 13, 2017 during Habitat for Humanity’s tenth annual National Women Build Week. Habitat for Humanity Tucson is one of more than 300 Habitat affiliates across the United States hosting Women Build projects with the support of Lowe’s, Habitat’s longtime partner in the event.
$25 build day experience includes T-shirt & brunch.
Shift 1: 6am – 10am
Brunch & Home Dedication: 9am – 10am
Shift 2: 9am – 1pm
Women Build is Habitat for Humanity’s program for women who want to learn construction skills and build homes and communities. This program brings together women from all walks of life to address the affordable housing issue facing so many in our community. No construction experience required.

Lowe’s Clinic
Women volunteers partnering with Habitat for Humanity Tucson during  National Women Build Week are invited to learn key construction tips during an upcoming how-to clinic hosted by Lowe’s.
The clinics are open to women interested in volunteering at a local Women Build site and will take place at Lowe’s of Tucson at 7105 E. Speedway Blvd. on the following date:
