Buying items second-hand is a great way to keep items out the landfill, green your home and give items new life. There are a ton of great tutorials out there on how to take an old piece of furniture and redo it into a masterpiece. Keep the repurposing & upcycling going.
One great repurpose idea is to buy an old picture or mirror and reuse the frame. You can use it for just about anything. Check out this great chalkboard DIY project from Janelle Duffy Wall who took a mirror and turned it into this great chalkboard. Janelle said “it was a fun and very easy project. My kids love it!”Â
