Since 2013, Habitat for Humanity Tucson’s Veterans Build partners with military service members, their families, and the families of the fallen to build affordable housing for Veteran families.
We reinforce strength and self-reliance for Veterans through volunteerism, fundraising, homeownership, and home repair.
Veteran Opportunities
Veterans have an opportunity to complete the requirements of our homeownership program and purchase a new, energy-efficient home with an affordable mortgage. Habitat Tucson also offers home repair in support of Veterans.
100% of the funds donated to our Veterans Build support building and repairing homes for Veterans. Since the Veteran programs inception in 2013 Habitat for Humanity Tucson has helped over 90 Veterans with Home Ownership, Critical Home Repair and A Brush with Kindness.
Veterans are encouraged to apply to our Home Repair and homeownership programs.
